Dolores Nuñez Vieyra designated Board Associate
Ms. Dolores Nuñez Vieyra has been designated CFA Society of Argentina & Uruguay Board of Directors' Associate.
Her role will be the liason between the local chapter and CFA Institute, be in charge of the operational aspects of the socieaty and promote new projects within the region.
Gastón Vaccaro, CFA, Dead at 32
CFA Society of Argentina & Uruguay announces with deep sorrow the passing of one of its active members, Gaston Vaccaro, CFA, who died on May 15th. We wish to send our condolences his dear family.
Gaston worked actively to promote both the CFA Institute in Argentina and the values that it promotes. His commitment to our local society and to our industry was an example of the highest professional and ethical standards, which accurately reflect the values of this excellent young man. We have lost a great society leader and a great friend.
Annual Associates Meeting: Election of new Board of Directors and Committee Chairs
In December, 2008 we held our Annual Members Meeting to discuss our Financial Statements and elect authorities for 2009.
Our Society's Financial Reports were approved without comments. Juan Verón, CFA, was elected President and Steven Novak, CFA, Vice-President. Also, new Committee Chairs were elected (see About Us for details).
Level I Preparatory Courses
